What is FBBS?
The Florida Bitcoin & Blockchain Summit is Florida’s first “blockchain & fintech in Florida” focused event, highlighting the ever expanding financial technology industry. The goal of the summit is to bring together stakeholders, businesses, and political leaders from all over Florida, as well as outside of the State, to collaborate on a strategy that will drive growth inside and outside the State of Florida, benefiting our emerging industry.
Our event will unify the fintech communities, businesses, evangelists, and political leaders all over the world as well as the leaders within the State of Florida. This conference will be used to craft a clear and unique strategy on making Florida the leader in blockchain and financial technology.

About Us
Like many things in the Bitcoin & Digital Asset community, the origins of this event came from a seed of an idea.
Event organizer Chris Krimitsos has been passively involved in the Bitcoin community for some time and has wanted to lend his gifts to this movement in a way that could be beneficial to all. As the founder of PODFEST, one of the world’s largest podcasting conferences, he felt he could do more for this community.
For this year’s FBBS, Chris has teamed up with collaborators like Samuel Armes of the FLORIDA BLOCKCHAIN BUSINESS ASSOCIATION & TORTUGA WEB3 FUND; Gabe Higgins & Rosa Shores, Founders of BLOCKSPACES, one of Florida’s oldest bitcoin meetups; and Joe Hamilton, Founder of ST. PETE CATALYST & CITYVERSE. It is our firm belief that the relationships and the wisdom created at this pioneering event will have a far-reaching impact within this space.
